This page explains how to permanently delete your LegacyMind account and the data associated with it. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
How to request deletion
Option 1 — In the app (fastest)
- Open the LegacyMind app and sign in.
- Go to Profile.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
Your account and data are scheduled for permanent deletion immediately upon confirmation.
Option 2 — By email
If you can’t access the app, email privacy@legacymind.com from the email address registered to your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We will verify the request and delete your account within 7 days.
What gets deleted
- Your profile information (name, email, date of birth, profile photo)
- All voice recordings and their audio files
- All transcripts, story titles, and biography content
- Your connections and any stories shared with them
- Your sign-in credentials and device/push tokens
What we keep, and for how long
- All personal data listed above is permanently deleted from our systems immediately upon your deletion request.
- Anonymised billing records (amounts and timestamps of minute purchases, with no link to your identity) are retained as required for tax and accounting compliance.
