This page explains how to permanently delete your LegacyMind account and the data associated with it. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
How to request deletion
Option 1 — In the app (fastest)
- Open the LegacyMind app and sign in.
- Go to Profile.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
You’ll receive an email with a link to download all your stories as a ZIP file. Your account and all associated data are permanently deleted 30 days after your request.
Option 2 — By email
If you can’t access the app, email privacy@legacymind.com from the email address registered to your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We will verify the request and delete your account within 7 days.
What gets deleted
- Your profile information (name, email, date of birth, profile photo)
- All voice recordings and their audio files
- All transcripts, story titles, and biography content
- Your connections and any stories shared with them
- Your sign-in credentials and device/push tokens
What we keep, and for how long
- All personal data listed above is permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days of your deletion request. A download link for your stories is sent to your registered email address immediately when you request deletion.
- Anonymised billing records (amounts and timestamps of minute purchases, with no link to your identity) are retained as required for tax and accounting compliance.
